Edna M. Migliore
Age: 92

Edna M. Migliore, 92, of Wellsville, Ohio died at the Nentwick Convalescent Center in East Liveprool, Ohio on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 after a lengthy illness.

She became the daughter of the late Benjamin & Josephine Masters Chancey on May 6, 1911 in East Liverpool, Ohio. Living her entire life in this area, she worked as a sales clerk at the former Modern Shop in Wellsville and DM Ogilvies in East Liverpool. Mrs. Migliore was a 1929 graduate of East Liverpool High School and was an Old Guard member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association. Also, she was a member of the Wellsville Art Club, Lady Elk’s #1040, Wellsville Lady Knights and the Wellsville Historical Society. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville and the former Altar & Rosary Society of the church.

Her husband, James V. "Jazzo" Migliore, Sr., whom she married in 1933 died on October 13, 1979.

She is survived by a son: James "Jazzo" Migliore, Jr. of Chester, WV; two daughters: Linda Morgan and her husband, William "Bert" of Wellsville and Harriet "Honey" Winland with whom she made her home; one sister: Betty Allen of Olympia, Washington; a sister-in-law: Elinor Vranes of Midland, PA; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Dale and Dick Chancey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, 2003 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church with Rev. Father Bernard Gaeta as celebrant.

Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Wellsville, Ohio.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Thursday, November 20, 2003 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM
