Edgar “Ted” Welshans, 61, of Wheeling, died Friday, June 5, 2015 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling.
He was born September 16, 1953, in Wheeling, a son of the late Harry and Thelma West Welshans.
Ted was employed at Swisher International and was a Navy veteran.
In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Kalo Welshans in 2010.
Surviving are 2 sons; Roger Bell and his wife, Carrie of Morgantown, WV, Joshua Welshans, of St. Albans, WV; his fiance’ Linda Antigo, of Wheeling, a sister; Edie Heatherington, of Shadyside, OH, 2 brothers; John “Jerry” Welshans, of Fiddletown, CA, Harry “Ray” Welshans, of Manfield, OH and 2 grandchildren; Sophia and Avery Bell.
Friends will be received on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2:00pm with Pastor Kevin Rowland officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
