Earl Ross Boso
Age: 85

Earl Ross Boso, 85, of Grimms Bridge Road, East liveprool, OH died on Friday, May 17, 2002 at the East Liverpool Convalescent Center #1 after a lengthy illness. He was born in East Liverpool, OH on April 3, 1917, a son of the late Charles & Nellie Horner Boso.

Mr. Boso lived his entire life in this area, working for 30 years at the former T S & T Pottery. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WW II.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma F. Young Boso, whom he married May 17, 1948; one son: Earl William Boso of Lisbon, OH; three daughters: Cheryl Boso of East Liverpool, OH, Christine Mitchell of Carleton, Michigan and Melina Laneve of Wellsville, OH; two sisters: Gloria Wright of California and Donna Jean Heffner of East Liveprool; seven granchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, May 20, 2002 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Paul Sturm of Rainbow Ministries officiating.

Burial will follow in Longs Run Cemetery, where the Tri State Burial Group will accord full military honors.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta two hours prior to the service.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Earl, gosh we all have some wonderful memories of the creek and growing up there. I would walk by and Earl would be cutting grass or tinkering outside and always speak. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family
