Chris & Family,

My sincere condolences to you and your family, I just saw your fathers obituary today, 11-27-08. IâÄôll never forget âÄúDoctor BâÄù coming downstairs to check on the âÄúBandâÄù every once and a while when we practiced in the downstairs of your home. Your Mom & Dad both deserve a gold medal for putting up with all of us! âÄúDoc.âÄù always offered words of encouragement. We were very fortunate to have his support.

Take Care,

My family when we lived in Warwood were patients of the Dr’s. He was a very nice man. I could walk into his office anytime I was sick and he would take the time to see me. He was missed when he retired. Now he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Your family will be in my prayers. May God be with you at your time of sorrow.

To the Bontos family,

My memories of Dr. B go back 25+ years to when I worked with Chris in the early 80’s in several of the bands that he played in. The band’s practice room was the Bontos basement and even though Dr. and Mrs B. were amusedand bemused by the thought of a rock and roll band in their basement they were always supportive. Dr. B. would stop down stairs and share a laughwith a twinkle in his eye and make sure the band wasn’t tearing up his basement too badly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. We are sorry we didn’t find out about this until Monday evening.

We were so saddened to read of Dr. Bontos’ passing. He was our family physician for many years and it was a big loss to all of his patients when he retired. He was the epitome of what a physician should be. He was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, caring and encouraging, and made all of his patients feel special. Dr. Bontos was a model for his profession. Please accept our sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
