I worked at PPG with Doug, he was always the same, just an all around great guy. I will definitely miss him, that’s for sure. May God comfort the Strope family in their time of great loss. And God bless Doug and his family.

Sincerely hoping words can reveal the depth of sympathy I feel at this time of sorrow. Please know you are in my thoughts today.

I knew Doug from the Credit Union. He always had a smile on his face and was very caring, joyous, and spoke with great passion and love for his family.

To the entire Strope Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Rusty and Craig: I missed you when I visited the Funeral Home on Monday. I am so sorry for your loss. It is a horrible, horrible situation. I could tell by the crowd of friends and family that Doug remained a good person as an adult, just as he had been as a kid. Again, I am sorry and my thoughts are with you.
