Dorothy M. Mahoney
Age: 85

Dorothy M. Mahoney, 85 formerly of Cherry Lane, East Liverpool, OH died at the residence of her nephew in Fredericksburg, OH on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 following a lengthy illness. She was born on July 26, 1922 in Conway, PA, a daughter of the late Dale and Bertha Alice Rose Graebing.

Living her entire life in this area, she moved to Fredericksburg, OH in 2006. She was a homemaker, a graduate of East Liverpool High School and a member of the Calcutta Christian Church.

Her husband, Richard G. Mahoney, whom she married on December 3, 1941 died on December 22, 1998.

One sister: Helen Graebing of Fredericksburg, OH and several nieces and nephews survive her.

Besides her parents and husband, two brothers: William and Paul Graebing and one sister: Pauline McPeek preceded her in death.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Bill Kelly, Evangelist officiating.

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM

We were so sorry to just recently learn about Dot passing away. What a wonderful and faithful Christian lady she was. We feel the same way about her sister, Helen. But she must be thrilled to be in Heaven now — not only to be in the very Presence of God, but also to see her husband Richard once again.
