Dorothy L. Pennington
Age: 80

Dorothy L. Pennington, 80, formerly of Calcutta, died on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at the Pleasant View Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born In East Liverpool, OH on April 14, 1923 to the late Edward Franklin & Sarah Cathorn Lunsford.

She was a lifelong area resident graduating from East Liverpool High School in 1939. She chose to stay home and take care of her husband and children.

She is survived by three sons: Ray E. Pennington, Jr of Leetonia, OH; Donald W. Pennington of Bullhead, AZ and Ronald D. Pennington, of East Liverpool, OH; six grandchildren: Heather Demuth, Erin Fritz, Donald Pennington, Jr., Charles Hart, Elaine Hart and Misty Hart as well as nine great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she is preceded indeath by her husband, Ray E. Pennington, Sr; two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held at the East Liverpool Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, August 11, 2003 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry Rose of the Northside Community Church officiating.

The family will be present to recieve friends at the funeral home in East Liverpool on Sunday, August 10, 2003 from noon – 4 and 6-8 PM.
