DONALD PAUL "DUCK" ALGEO 71, OF 150 CARRIE STREET POWHATAN POINT, OHIO, DIED TUESDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2004, IN WHEELING HOSPITAL.

DON WAS BORN OCTOBER 22, 1933 IN PARKERSBURG, WV, A SON OF THE LATE MYRON RALPH "BUTCH" AND NORA ELIZABETH BOWEN ALGEO.

HE WAS RETIRED FROM THE FORMER QUARTO #4 MINE POWHATAN POINT AND RETIRED AS MAINTENANCE FOREMAN FROM THE FORMER CONALCO PLANT IN HANNIBAL, OHIO.

HE WAS A MEMBER OF MASONIC LODGE MORIAH #105 F & AM POWHATAN POINT, ANCIENT ACCEPTED SCOTTISH RITE VALLEY OF STEUBENVILLE, A METHODIST BY FAITH AND AN ACCOMPLISHED WOODWORKER AND ARTIST.

HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS FIRST WIFE PATRICIA ANN MASSIE ALGEO IN 1980.

SURVIVING IS HIS WIFE INGRID I. HILL ALGEO, TWO SONS DONALD WADE KELLY ALGEO OF POWHATAN POINT, OHIO, JAMES M. SABRINA ALGEO OF REYNOLDSBURG, OHIO, A DAUGHTER DEBRA L. BARANICH OF GROVEPORT, OHIO, A STEP-SON JOE CHRISTY HILL OF POWHATAN POINT, OHIO; THREE STEP-DAUGHTERS CARMEN DONALD RHOADES OF JOHNSTOWN, OHIO, DEBBIE PHILLIP ARCHER OF WOODSFIELD, OHIO AND REGINA HILL OF POWHATAN POINT, OHIO, 16 GRANDCHILDREN INCLUDING HIS "LITTLE BUDDY" WESTLEY, TWO GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, A BROTHER WILLIAM DEBBIE ALGEO OF HUMBLE, TEXAS, A SISTER SHIRLEY WILLIAM TEARE OF MICHIGAN CITY, INDIANA. SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED THURSDAY 2 TO 4 PM AND 6 TO 8 PM AT THE BAUKNECHT-ALTMEYER FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, 186 MAIN STREET POWHATAN POINT, OHIO, WHERE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 1 PM ON FRIDAY NOVEMBER 12, 2004, WITH REVEREND RICK HENDRIX AND PASTOR DONALD J. CORDERY OFFICIATING.

MASONIC SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY AT 7 PM IN THE FUNERAL HOME.

INTERMENT IN POWHATAN CEMETERY, POWHATAN POINT, OHIO.
