SIEGWART, Donald George “Jeff” 81, of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at home.
He was born January 31, 1931 in Wheeling, a son of the late Hugo George and Gertrude Weber Siegwart.
He was a retired mechanical engineer at Blaw Knox Rolls, Wheeling, an Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Cave Club and Elm Grove Eagles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Cuchta Siegwart, married November 24, 1951, six sisters, Viola Kederly, Edith Timberlake, Gertrude Crouch, Harriet Andrews, Dorothy Loges and Bertha Pastor, one brother, Robert Siegwart.
Surviving is four children, Jeffrey Cindy Siegwart of Wheeling; Gregory Cindy Siegwart of Wheeling; Robbin Siegwart of Wheeling; Barbara Stewart of St. Clairsville, OH; two sisters, Delores Polonus and Arleen Udvarnoki, nine grandchildren, Erica Gump, Angie Smith, Shannan Small, Nathan Siegwart, Kristan Siegwart, Robbin Siegwart Jr, Drew Siegwart, Shadoe Stewart and Samantha Stewart, six great grandchildren, Adrianna Walton, Andrea Gump, Hunter Smith, Jenna Smith, Audrey Small and Colin Small, and his faithful companion, Callie.
Private family funeral services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, with Pastor Paul Schafer officiating.
Arrangements entrusted to the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling.

We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Don’s passing. He will be missed at the reunions. We always enjoyed his funny tales. We’ll keep you all in our prayers.

We were so sad to hear about Uncle Don’s passing. He was definitely one in a million! Reunions won’t be the same without him. I’m sure mom Harriet was happy to greet him in heaven!
