Dear Family,
I’m writing to express sympathy and sadness from two of us.Even though I knew Skinner only caually from the Jamaica Inn which he frequented we hoisted many a beer together and went fishing together.I knew him as a good, honest friend, who was always cheerful and laughing.I never heard him say a bad word about anyone and he was always a man I looked forward to seeing and talking with.I know he was a blessing to his family and friends. My girlfriend, Chalem Hartlage, who was a cook at Jamaica Inn,knew him longer and better than I.He was a good friend to her and all the others at the Inn.He always made her day better by laughing and clowning with her.Since I travel,if something needed fixed at the house,he was always there. She cried when she found out he had cancer and was devastated by his demise. Our sympathy and condolences are with you-he left a piece of him with everyone he touched.
God Bless,
Loren Jackson

I would like to Salute Don for being a good Citizen of this country. He wouldn’t had to go to Vietnam but he did and that shows how dedicated he was to all of us. Thanks for all the memories and he will be dearly missed. Now when I pick up the phone to call for help I won’t have anyone to call. I truely believe GOD put him here on earth just to help people in need and now his job is complete, so GOD called him back home. He was a very dear friend. We want to wish The Family God’s Blessing.
