The Tide

By M. D. Hughes

The tide recedes

but leaves behind

bright seashells on the sand.

The sun goes down,

but gentle warmth

still lingers on the land.

The music stops,

And yet it echoes on

in sweet refrains…

For ever joy that passes,

something beautiful remains.

Nada and family, We are so sorry to hear the passing of Donnie. I wish I could come home, but I can’t. Be strong, and proud of the “big guy” Donnie was. Me and Donnie have many good memories that will never be forgotten, especially when we stayed with our grandmother Annie. Me and Donnie ate lots of peanut butter and I still do! Our love and prayers are with all of you. God Bless! Don and Lois
