DONALD DOUGLASS ROGERS, Sr.

VIRGINIA BEACH-Donald Douglass Rogers, Sr. passed away on Oct. 13, 2008 at the age of 70, with his family and close friends by his side.
Born on Dec. 20, 1937, Mr. Rogers served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association Branch 99 in Virginia Beach and the Black Diamond Navy in Pottsville, PA.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Yvonne M. Rogers, his children, Donald Douglass Rogers, Jr. and his wife Carole of Georgia, and Tracy Rogers and her husband Steve Musgrave of Virginia Beach, his brother, Frederick L. Rogers and his wife Beverly of Virginia Beach, one niece and three nephews.
Because of Mr. Rogers support of organ donation, with him being a double lung transplant recipient, memorial contributions may be made to the LifeNet Health Foundation, 1864 Concert Drive, Virginia Beach, VA. 23453.

Auntie, Tracey,and Donnie,

I am so sorry about Uncle Donnie. I will remember his smile and his wanting to get Alissa fixed up with someone. Know that you will all be in our thoughts and prayers this weekend as you remember Uncle Donnie in Va. Blessings hugs and kisses.
