Carrie,

We have been friends for so long and I hope you lean on that friendship right now because you know I am there for you. I know you are a strong person and have already overcome so much adversity and even though you may feel tired and hopeless, I want you to know you can always rely on me to help you up off the ground and give you a push in the right direction. I know you will miss Donny so very much, but know that he will always live in your heart. I love you, sweetie…please take care of yourself. I will see you tonight.

DEATH is an enemy of life, because we have a built-in desire to live and enjoy life, with our family and friends. When we lose our loved one, for whatever reason we may believe, it is distressing, because we miss them very much. At times, we need encouragement and hope so that we can cope with our loss. For that reason we can be encouraged by reflecting on the promises that God has given us in his word the Bible, concerning the hope of seeing our lone ones again. I hope that you find comfort in reading these Scriptures: John 11: 11-44, John 5:21,28,29, Acts 24:15 and revelation 21:4. My prayers are with your family.

I am terribly sorry to have heard of this tragedy. My boyfriend had introduced me to him and being a small area you run into the same crowd of people consistantly and for not knowing him as well as others, I am still in shock. He’s such a nice person and someone that you never forget. We wish the best for his family and close friends.

There are really no words to describe the sadness that is being felt at this time. I have known Don about eight years and he always had a smile and a kind word to say. It is truly my honor to say that I did know him. My sympathy goes out to all of his close friends and family. He will be sadly missed.
