Virginia Beach –

Don F. Robinson, Sr., passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008. He is the son of the late Willie and Lois Robinson. Don was born in Kentucky on January 7, 1944.

He is survived by his loving wife Connie Robinson of 36 years; seven children Carolyn “Tinne” Hitzke of Chesapeake, Ellen Simmons of Virginia Beach, David Stevenson of Chesapeake, Larry Stevenson of Virginia Beach, Don “Pete” Robinson, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Edward “Eddie” Robinson of Virginia Beach and Michael “Mike” Robinson of Virginia Beach; along with many grandchildren and friends. He will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 7 – 9 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. A service will be on Thursday at 1:00PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home with Pastor Genesis Marcum officiating. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Hey Uncle Donnie,

I can remember the time when I won a contest writing a short story about you. I wish I could have spent more time with you. I love you and you will be greatly missed by all of us.

I wish I could of seen you one more time before you passed. I guess it would of always been just a wish for one more time. I love you and will always think of you.
