Domenic "Dee" Urso
Age 88
Domenic "Dee" Urso, 88, of Emerald Bay, Naples Florida, died Sunday, April 7, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on April 30, 1913, the son of the late Louie and Theresa Ramano Urso.
Mr. Urso lived his entire life in East Liverpool, before moving to Naples, Florida in 1994. He worked as a labor foreman at the former Crucible Steel Company in Midland, PA, retiring in 1975. While in East Liverpool, he had been a member of St. Ann Church, where he was a former president of the 30 + 30 Group. He was a charter member of the East Liverpool Area Senior Citizens where he had served as president. While in Florida, he belonged to the Parkinson’s Support Group of Naples.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sacco Urso at home, whom he married August 31, 1932.
He is survived by a son, Anthony J. Maglior of Naples, Florida; a daughter, Jacqueline A. Urso of Naples, Florida; 6 grandsons and 9 great-grandchildren;
18 nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Evans; 4 half brothers, Joseph Comfort, August Comfort, Thomas Comfort and Tony Comfort.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin-MacLean-Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 10:30 AM with Father Bernard Gaeta of St. Aloysius Community Parish, officiating.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Friday, April 12, 2002 from 2:00 to 8:30 PM.
