Dennis was a tireless volunteer. We will really miss him. I first met him when I wrote for the Denbigh Gazette, and Vince met and worked with him while he served on City Council.

Newport News is a better place because of Dennis.

Our deepest sympathy for all of you.

I’ve known Dennis for nearly 15 years. He helped me so many times when I was working on different committees for people with diabilities. I’ll miss his sense of humor and I’ll miss working with him. He was truly a great person.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Dennis and I worked side by side on the Disability Services Board from 1996 to 1999. He was a joy and a wonderful mentor to me as the chairwoman during my term in the DSB. He will be missed greatly.
