Dear Family,

I was very sorry to hear about the loss of Denise. I know you will miss her dearly, as well as cherish the many memories.

It is times like these that we need comfort and support, and I look to God’s Word the Bible for both, and I find scriptures such as 2Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4, which shows how the God of all comfort will give you the courage and the strength to cope. Psalms 55 verse 22 assures us of God’s love by allowing us to throw all of our burdens on him, and both John 11 verse 25 and Acts 24 verse 15, speaks of the resurrection hope, something we hold out for our dear loved ones.

I hope these scriptures help you as they have for me. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in this most difficult time.

Denise was the best. She let me stay up late and watch horror movies. She taught me about The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. She never met an animal she didn’t like. She will be missed dearly. I hope wherever she is she is happy and content. Love you Nise. I will see you again someday, somewhere.

Denise you will be missed my friend. You were such a optimistic person. Even when things got rough you always knew how to look at the bright side. Make sure you look after Margie and Liz from up there above.

Margie and Liz… if you need anything, please let me know. I am praying for you both and hoping you find comfort and peace during this difficult time.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Denise at Windemere Rehab Center, to teach her how to walk again after a prolonged stay at Va. Beach Hospital. What a delightful person with such optomisim. She was an inspiration to everyone there. Now she is among the angels playing & listening to her precious music. My heart goes out to all. We shall all miss her.

So sad to hear that Denise is gone! She was a great family friend from our childhoods, our families spent many Christmases and Thanksgivings together in the 60’s. Nise was a character who had me totally convinced that her incredible childhood horse statue collection came to life every single night and walked around her bedroom! God Bless you Denise, gone but not forgotten:
