CHRISLIP, Delbert G., Sr., “Chris”, 81, of Glen Dale W.Va., died Saturday August 22, 2009 in Liza’s Place, Wheeling, W.Va.

He was born September 23, 1927 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of the late Delbert C. and Emma Chrislip.

Mr. Chrislip was a retired employee of Shadyside Stamping, a Christian by faith, and a veteran of the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Hutchinson Chrislip and a daughter Ruth Ann Budlong.

Surviving are his two sons, Ronald Chrislip and his wife Editha of Hampton Virginia and Delbert G. Chrislip Jr. and his wife Ruth of Moundsville W.Va.; two daughters, Diana Sorge and her husband Mike, and Sue Chrislip, all of Bridgeport, Ohio; a step-daughter Nancy Kesselring and her husband Carl of Riverdale, MD, a step-son Fred Siburt and his wife Kay of Moundsville; close friends Linda, Tom, and Bootsie, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends received 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville where services will held at 11:00am Wednesday August 26, 2009, with Pastor Paul K. Smith officiating. Entombment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
