David Lee Quigley Sr., 61, loving husband, father and grandfather, of Bowmans Ridge, Marshall County WV. Passed away Friday evening, November 25th, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born October 27th, 1950 in Glen Dale, WV son of the late Arch and Naomi Edwards Quigley.
Dave was employed at A-1 Automotive in New Martinsville, WV. He was also self employed at his business, Bowman Automotive, for many years. He was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his family, work, car racing and working on cars.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Leslie Mercer Quigley; daughter Babe Luke Pelley of Wheeling, WV., son and best friend, David Kelly Quigley, Jr. and Grandson Triton Lee Quigley of Benwood, WV.; two brothers, Gerald Vicki Quigley of Moundsville, WV. And Lewis Maxine Quigley of Glen Dale, WV.: special father and mother in law, Lester and Helen Mercer of Moundsville, WV.; several special sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 7-9 pm Monday, Nov. 28th at the Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville. Where services will be held 12 noon Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 with Mike Eskridge officiating.
Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the !st Christian Church of Moundsville at 3rd and Grant Avenue, Moundsville, WV 26041.

leslie sorry to hear of dave passing,i first met dave in 1978 since then he has been a good friend.i know that he loved you so and his family when we were together he alwas talked about you.dave jr also knows me from a-1 dave and dave jr and i always hugged each other.dave sr always did my body work on all of my cars at a-1,now dave jr got to take over.may god bless you and you family in this time of need. in christian love always john morando
