JONES, David Earl, 64, of Wheeling, died Monday, October 27, 2008 at his home.
Dave was born March 4, 1944 in Wheeling, a son of the late Harry M. and Nellie B. Maxwell Jones.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Paul Jones; and close friend, Richard “Dick” Knollinger.
Dave is survived by his three brothers, Robert L. Jones and his wife Sue of Arnold, Md., Wm. Larry Jones and his wife, Karen Sue of Wheeling and Ray C. Jones and his wife, Amy of Sunland, Ca.; three nieces, Jennifer McBride, Melissa Anne Jones and Samantha M. Jones; a nephew, Christopher L. Jones; three great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.
There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 am, Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, with the Pastor Greg Markins officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

So sorry to hear of your brother’s passing. I can remember way back when your mom babysat my cousins Helen and Billy Breuas probably in the late 60’s I believe. Billy still tells me stories of his quasi big brothers from back then. My prayers are with you all. I miss North Erie Street from way back. It was a great street to grow up on. Island Rats . . .Good people.
We will miss you, you will always be in our hearts. I will always remember how nice you and Dick were to Justin that meant alot to him and us.
