As a sailor aboard USS George Washington, Joe taught me plenty in the Engineering field. It’s what he loved, along with meeting and enjoying people. Prayers are with you and your Family at this time.

Charlotte and Family,

Our deepest prayers are with you all during this time of deep sadness. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating New Years Eve together. I met Joe when I was a young Navy guy of 19 and several years have passed and I have nothing but fond memories of a great smile, a warm heart and of course a contagious laugh. There is a special place in heaven for you Joe…

Love,

Dukey and Lesley

Joe was a very special man to me I can’t remember a time in my life that he wasn’t there from childhood birthdays to the day I got married. And he would always say the same thing how much he loved me and how great of a person my mom was. He will be greatly missed and I will be sure to raise my son with the repect he wanted all kids to show their parents. Charlotte I love you tons. Nancy, Jim, & PayceJames

To Joe and his family. I was shocked to hear of the passing of Joe from a co-worker who works out at the Little Creek Gym. When I began at Amsec in 1998, Joe was one of the first ones to welcome me, I also had many opertunites to work with Joe on the water front, and even down in Florida, he always greeted me as : how you doing partner” I have learned a lot from him, but mostly I had learned to enjoy life the way he did, he never seemd to stress but always had that smile on his face, and his eyes would just shine when he smiled at you. I am so glad that he was part of my jouney in this life, and as he touched me I know he touched 100 fold of people he came in contact with. ” Joe, I know I will once again see your smile and the gleam in you eye’s when you welcome me in heaven, and I hear you say to me, how you doing partner” .
