Cindy graduated years after I did, but I still remember her family from my days growing up in Bellaire. What makes it more tragic is when someone goes to be with God at such an early age. We all know we are put here for a reason and when it is fulfilled, we pass to another existence. Cindy fulfilled hers and is now at peace. We will all miss her, but one day, we will all be reunited. My prayers go out to her family and friends.
Cindy was my first friend at Bellaire High School. I met her when my family moved to the city in 8th grade. She was a kind, caring and loving person. To this day, we still communicated via Christmas cards and Birthday cards. She never forgot a single year in 30+ years. She was a great friend, a loving person and will be missed by all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her mother, sister and the entire Paul family.

There are no words, there simply aren’t. Cindy was the BEST! My head is full of memories of her strutting that trombone, she never knew how much I envied her, being able to make that noise when all I had was that stupid drum…She lifted me, honestly. I know that every time I watch a trombone slide I will think of Cindy
To Cindy’s Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Cindy was a special girl as we were growing up and always full of laughs. We had alot of fun and, although we didn’t see each other often, we felt close when we did meet up – the bond of growing up together in West Bellaire. I’ll miss Cindy as so many of the West Bellaire gang will too.
With deep sympathy,
Corina
