COLEMAN JOHN "COLEY" CONNORS 73 OF 838 CENTRAL AVENUE BELLAIRE, OHIO, DIED NOVEMBER 2, 2004, IN ARTHUR JAMES CANCER CENTER COLUMBUS, OHIO.

COLEY WAS BORN MARCH 3, 1931, IN BELLAIRE, OHIO, A SON OF THE LATE PATRICK AND MARY JOYCE CONNORS.

HE WAS A RETIRED EMPLOYEE OF THE FORMER PHILLIPS STAMPING COMPANY OF BELLAIRE AND MET TECH IN CAMBRIDGE, OHIO. HE WAS A MEMBER OF ST. JOHN CATHOLIC CHURCH IN BELLAIRE, AMERICAN LEGION POST#52, IONIC LODGE #438 F& AM AND SONS OF ITALY LODGE #754 ALL OF BELLAIRE.

HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO BROTHERS, PATRICK AND THOMAS CONNORS AND A SISTER PATRICIA JEAN CONNORS.

SURIVIVING ARE HIS LOVING WIFE EILEEN PASSA CONNORS, A DAUGHTER JENNIE NELSON AND HER HUSBAND PETER AND COLEY’S GRANDCHILDREN, CHASE AND ABBY ALL OF PICKERINGTON, OHIO. FIVE BROTHERS, JAMES CONNORS, MICHAEL CONNORS, AND TERRY CONNORS ALL OF BELLAIRE, CHARLES DORIS CONNORS OF BELLAIRE AND DANIEL CONNORS OF BARNESVILLE, SIX SISTERS BRIDGET ALBERT DOBROVICH, BARBARA WILLIAM CARRIGAN, NORA WOODROWPERRY AND EILEEN PENYAK ALL OF BELLAIRE, MAGGIE GILBERT WEAVER AND CECELIA ROBERT MIGLIOZZI OF OLNEY, MARYLAND. SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED ON FRIDAY FROM 2 TO 4 PM AND 6 TO 8 PM AT THE BAUKNECHT-ALTMEYER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 441-37TH STREET, BELLAIRE, OHIO, WHERE FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD 11:30 AM SATURDAY WITH MONSIGNOR GENE W. MULLETT OFFICIATING.

SONS OF ITALY SERVICES 7 PM FRIDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.

INTERMENT IN HOLLY MEMORIAL GARDENS, PLEASANT GROVE, OHIO.

Handsome. That is what I always called Uncle Coley-because he was! To me, he always seemed the quintessential Irish gentleman-handsome, charming and full of Blarney-in a good way. I loved his ornery sense of humor and his way of making you feel good when he was around. He was a beautiful man and greatly loved and deeply missed.
