Clarence Wise

Wise, Clarence, 84, of Moundsville, WV, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
He was born June 11, 1920 in Littleton, WV, a son of the late Carl A. and Byrd Powers Wise. Mr. Wise was a retired employee of Weirton Steel, a member of the Cornerstone Church of God, First & Poplar, Moundsville, and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Wise, a daughter, Shirley Jean Wise, and a brother Charles Wise.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 58 years, Loretta V. Rine Wise; three sons, Nelson C. Wise of Canal Fulton, OH, Paul J. Wise of Kentucky, and Eric J. Wise of Harlen Springs, OH; five daughters, Diana L. Resop of Green Bay, WI, Norma Lee Gray of Middleburg, FL, Pauline Beard of Columbus, OH, Ginger P. Lautzenheiser of Beach City, OH, and Donna A. Wise of Green Bay; two brothers; five sisters; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville, WV, with Rev. Ron Wilfong officiating.
