Westen, Clarence B. “Cannon”, 57, of Moundsville, WV, died Monday, October 20, 2008 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
He was born May 5, 1951 in Glen Dale, a son of Ruth Kesselring Westen of Moundsville, and the late Charles W. Westen, Sr.
Clarence was a retired employee of Marshall County Emergency Services and a member of Hillview Terrace Church of Christ, Moundsville.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald L. and Charles W. Westen, Jr.; a sister, Ruth A. Westen.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Edie Haught; and a nephew, Kris Haught, both of Moundsville.
Friends received 1-9 pm Thursday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 24, 2008 with Gene West officiating.
Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.

Cannon was a good friend of mine and he helped me out on my computer problems when I needed it. Now he is at peace with our one and only father Jesus Christ. He was close family friend.
cannon was a great friend,computer teacher,when you had a question he had the answer cannon you will be deeply missed thanks for every thing the murphy family
Cannon was great, always helpful and dedicated to the cause weather it was teaching or being a rescuer, I knew him well when I was a Firefighter in Marshall county in the 80’s and 90’s. Rest in peace our brother, you will always be remembered.
CANNON,WAS WELL KNOWN FOR HIS EXPERTISE ON COMPUTERS AND CB THINGS TO ALL WHO KNEW HIM KNEW HIM WELL AND HAD GOOD WORDS TO SAY ABOUT HIM AND THE WORK HE HAD ALWAYS DONE FOR EVERYONE HE WILL BE SADLY BE MISSED BY ALL .
