I did’nt know Christine, but it was like her picture & obituary just stood out before me when I was reading the Bloomington obituaries Fri. night. I do’nt know the story behind Christine, but I myselfat 53 suffer very unbearable back pain & also depression. I myself, at times have felt like dieing would be a relief. Christine was so very young & I know this must be very hard to bear. Just remember God loved her & He will comfort you all. Roberta Young

I KNEW CHRISTINE FROM LONG AGO, I TOOK CARE OF HER AND HAD THE PLEASURE TO MEET HER WHEN SHE WAS JUST A CONFUSED YOUNG LADY, I ALSO GOT TO KNOW HER MOTHER AS WELL CHRISTINE MADE SURE I GOT TO MEET HER AS SHE WAS VERY PROUD OF HER FAMILY AND WOULD SPEAK ABOUT THEM OFTEN TO ME.CHRISTINE WAS A PRETTY SMART RESOURSFUL YOUNG LADY SOMETIMES WE WOULD LAUGH AND JOKE ALL EVENING AT THE SHELTER NOT TO MENTION THE MANY TRIPS TO BIG LOTS AND WENDYS. SOMETIMES CHRISTINE WOULD ASK ME JUST TO RIDE BY HER HOUSE AND I WOULD SLOW DOWN THE CAR AND SAY ARE YOU GOING IN??? AND HER REPLY WOULD BE NO I AM JUST CHECKING UP ON THEM, WE WOULD THEN LAUGH AS CHRISTINE WOULD SAY IF THEY KEEP SEEING THIS CAR RIDE BY MY MOM WILL THINK WE ARE STALKERS,,, SHE HAD SUCH A GREAT SENCE OF HUMOR I HAVE A DAUGHTER NOT MUCH OLDER THAN CHRISTINE AND I CAN NOT IMAGINE THE PAIN YOU FEEL IN YOUR LOSS, MY HEART ACHES FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I GUESS GOD JUST NEEDED ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL ANGEL. PS I AM THE LADY YOU GAVE THE LOVELY WOODEN SALAD SPOONS TO AS A GIFT FOR CARING FOR CHRISTINE, THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME GET TO KNOW YOUR DAUGHTER

I worked with Christine during her brief stay at Helinski Shelter several years ago.She was mixed up and going through a tuff time in her teen years. She was a success story,to me, she pulled it together and came back only to visit us. She was a remarkable young lady. I was deeply saddened by the news of her passing, and I share in your grief. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
