Norfolk- Chester Glenn Stultz died in his home after a yearlong battle with lung cancer. He was born December 31, 1932 in Jasonville, Indiana and lived in Elizabeth City, NC for 7 years before moving to Norfolk, VA in 1961. He retired after 34 years from Naval Aviation Depot where he worked as a Production Controller. He was also retired after 16 years as a Commercial Hook and Line Fisherman. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Anne W. Stultz, two daughters, Cathy S. Austin and husband Franklin B. Austin III of Chesapeake, VA, Cheryl S. Madison and husband T. Dean Madison of Virginia Beach, VA, and a son A.Glenn Stultz and wife, Judith C. Stultz of Chesapeake, VA..

He also is survived by four brothers, Carlton D. Stultz of Virginia Beach, VA, George and Jack Stultz of Indiana, and J. Warren Stultz of Missouri. Two sisters survive him Anita Foster of California and Jean Manning of Arizona.

He is also survived by three grandsons, Michael and Ryan Stultz, and Bryan Austin, and two Grandaughters Paige and Colby Madison.

He was predeceased by his parents Gladys and Claude Stultz, a sister Agnes Huff, two brothers,
Fred Stultz and Robert Stultz.

A funeral service will held Monday at 12:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home Virginia Beach chapel 5792 Greenwich Rd. Virginia Beach, VA 2462. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the to the Norfolk SPCA, 916 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23504, or a charity of your choice.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Chester at NADEP Noroflk. It is with sadness that I heard of his passing. My prayer are with him and his family. My father and Uncle also worked with him and if they could they would share my same though of him.
