Stoetzer, Charlotte Rose Critchfield, 78, of Fort Myers, FL., formerly of Wheeling, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, in Hope Hospice House, Cape Coral, FL. She was born Aug. 4, 1923, in Rockwood, PA., daughter of the late James E. and Margaret Stewart Critchfield. She was a homemaker and former member of First English Lutheran Church, Wheeling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Critchfield; and a sister, Hazel Carpenter. Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Stoetzer; two daughters, Peggy Buser and her husband Russell, of Cape Coral, FL., and Lorraine Lawrence and her husband, Troy, of Tarpon Springs, FL; a brother, William Critchfield of Waynesburg, PA; a sister, Betty Kennedy of Wheeling; five grandchildren, Sunny Troncale and her husand Chad, Scott Buser, all of Orlando, FL., Troy Jr., Tyler and Julia Lawrence, all of Tarpon Springs. Charlotte was a dear and devoted wife, loving mother and best friend to her husband, daughters and dogs. Friends received noon to 3 and 6-8 p.m Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling, where service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday Jan. 28, 2002. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.

I loved her as if she was my own mother. She laughed at my jokes and took care of me when I needed it the most. I’ll always remember

her fondly. Duke
