I wish to express my sincere condolences to the family of Col. Kucharski. I served with Chuck on two occasions. He was a fine Marine and a true gentleman. “If the Army & the Navy ever look on heaven scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines.”

Martha- We wish to express our deepest condolences on the passing of Chuck. In our short few years of living in the neighborhood, we have come to know and love you both very much. Chuck was a remarkable man, dedicated husband to you, true friend to all who knew him and a Marine’s Marine. Fair Winds and following seas Colonel.

Martha-Very sorry to hear of your loss. Chuck was a great guy and highly respected in all ways. We have many fond Marine Corps memories of you folks dating back over the years to San Diego 1967, then 29 Palms, Vietnam, and here. Best regards.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Kucharski family. I found this memorial quite by accident as I was searching for contact info for Chip III. Needless to say I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear that Chip had also passed away. I graduated art school with Chip back in 1980 and then I ended up hiring him and worked with him for a couple of years. We worked hard and had a lot of fun. He will be missed.

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences are extended to Martha, Karen and the grand children. Chuck was a great friend and a proud Marine. I was privileged to have served with him on several occasions, both overseas and stateside. Our families had many good times together since retiring in Virginia Beach. He truly will be missed. SEMPER FI Colonel.
