I just read about Chuck’s passing. He worked with my Grandfather Charlie Harrah at Consolidated Coal and was one of my father’s Ted Simpson favorite campers. He was a great man and I am sure he will be greatly missed by all of his family. My condolences to his family; I am sure he is now in a better place.

To Chuck’s wonderful family: Your father will be so sadly missed by all of the staff and campers at Tappan Lake Park. His award from MWCD was so well deserved. He will always have a special place at Tappan and in my heart. Such a sweetheart. Everytime he stopped in the office – always gave me a big hug and kiss. Many thoughts and prayers to all of you.

To the Witchey Family, re: Travis and Erin.

I pray for a peace beyond all understanding for you at this time. While I did not know Charles Foster, I do know that you speak highly of him and with lots of love, respect, and admiration. Anyone who has been given so much honor has obviously earned it and must have been a true hero among men. I am only sorry I was not blessed enough to have known him myself.

Please know we are here for you, and if you need anything, dont hesitate to ask. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you.
