Charles Alfred Yeager, 76, of Rehm Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Morgantown, WV.
He was born Decamber 28, 1931 at Waynesburg, PA., a son of the late George and Mary Myrtle Shultz Yeager.
Alfred was a retired US Navy Seabee in Korea and Viet Nam and former manager of the Skyline Motel , St. Clairville.
He was a member of the American Legion and a Protestant by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lucy Daley Yeager, his son, Steve D. Yeager and a sister, Betty Wheatley.
Surviving are two sons; Charles, Jr. Lorado Yeager, Morristown, Ohio, and Jim A. Yeager, St. Clairville, Ohio, his daughter-in-law, Lisa Yeager Jack Hirschbach, St. Clairsville, three sisters; KateLouis Bain, Colerain, Ohio, Marie Bennington, and Sue Bill Daley, both of St. Clairsville, and two grandchildren, Courtney and Joshua Yeager, St. Clairsville.
Friends will be received from 3-8 PM, Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950, where funeral services and Military Burial rites will be held at 11 AM Saturday.
Burial will follow in Belmont Memorial Park, St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America, 3134 Guernsey Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906.

Please know that my prayers are with all of you. Marie has spoken to me so many times about her brother Alfred and I offer you my sympathy. Marie is a wonderful friend of mine and I love her very much and she loves her family with all of her heart.

May God give you comfort and peace in this time of sorrow.
