Uncle Bub, AKA Dean Martin to me! He resembled him, I thought : As a young girl I admired him and always enjoyed his visits to our house.

Over the yrs. we lost touch,

but in the past year I visited him several times and “re-connected”. He was funny and cracking jokes, he kept to the form I had remembered him by. I spoke with him about Jesus and he was well-aware and accepted Him as Savior, to that I have no doubt.

It’s sad to loose someone, if we live to be 100, we’re never “ready” to let go of this life…but God’s promises are true; the promise of eternal life will bring comfort, even though we grieve.

May God’s peace bring you the comfort you all need at this time of sorrow.

God Bless,
