Carolyn and I shared a room for many years

At camp Luther. She was so much fun and we had many laughs and giggles. She was the nurse at camp and was wonderful with the campers. We all loved her so much.

Much love to her family. I was lucky to have been in her life at camp.

Dear Carol,

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother-in-law. I am sorry that I was not volunteering at Liza Place as I have taken some time off or I would have been visiting her. It sounds like she was an amazing woman. May God keep her in the palm of his hand.

Dear Ones —

I met Carolyn during my room visits at Liza’s Place. What a delightful lady she is! I’ll not forget how cozy she looked under the beautiful blanket that she told me she had made; and, I’ll always remember the rich colors that she had selected for that blanket. I’m sure that she’s now enjoying a new palette of colors that she had never even imagined before.

May God’s peace and blessings be yours during this most tender season; and, may He give you many lovely memories so that you may always have roses in December.

Ever hoping . . .

Always in Jesus,

Maryann Music Ministry Volunteer

I’ll never forget the first time I met Carolyn. She was quite suspicious of me so I tried my best to win her over. It took a few meetings but we grew to like each other very much. She was a super lady. My deepest sympathy to Chick. I love your jokes…you kept me laughing even when Carolyn was good heartedly picking on me…and us at times. I will miss her but I’m a better person for having known her.

Keeping Uncle Chick and my cousins in my thoughts and prayers. My last visit with Aunt Carolyn and Cousin Sue was at my mother’s passing and is a fond memory that I will cherish forever. Their reuniting in heaven gives me a great reason to smile today.
