Carol L. Clegg

Clegg, Carol L., 73, of McMechen, WV, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.
She was born December 25, 1934 in Moundsville, WV, the daughter of the late Allen and Lenna Church Bonar.
Carol was a homemaker, and a member of Temple Baptist Church, Moundsville.
She was an avid collector of old dolls and baby clothes, and enjoyed dressing those dolls for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tim Clegg, and a granddaughter, Amanda Marie Clegg.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 57 years, Jack K. Clegg; Sr.;two sons, Don Cindy Clegg of Shadyside, OH, and Jack Shari Clegg, Jr. of Morgan Hill, CA; two daughters, Cynthia Clegg and her fiancé, Frank Carr, of Parlin, NJ, and Becky Jimmy Boone of Houston, DE; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, with Carol’s son, Rev. Jack Clegg, Jr. officiating.
Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
