SANTINOCETO, Carmen P., of Gaewood Avenue, Wheeling, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002 at home. He was 62.
Carmen was born Oct. 22, 1939 in Clearfield, Pa., a son of Mary Curtorillo Santinoceto of Camp Hill, Pa., and the late Joseph Santinoceto.
He was the founder and retired president of Santco Inc.; a member of the Belmont Hills Country Club; the Wheeling Elks Lodge; St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church; and a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia M. Vargo Santinoceto, in 2001.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Christopher Santinoceto of Pittsburgh; a brother-in-law, Richard Vargo and his wife, Millie, of Bethlehem; a sister, Ann Santinoceto of Camp Hill, Pa.; three brothers, I.J. Santinoceto and his wife, Rosemary of Fort Worth, Texas, Anthony Santinoceto of Wheeling, and Joseph Santinoceto and his wife, Phyllis of Wheeling; two granddaughters, Katilyn and Gabrielle Santinoceto; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dan Seccomb as celebrant. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
The family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice, in memory of Carmen Santinoceto.

Joe: I have been gone from Wheeling for 5 years but have often thought of Carmen and the gang from NCR. It is with sorry that I heard of Carmen’s passing and my wife, Ramile and my prayers are with you and your family.
