Obituary for:
Bud G. Hartwick
Age: 82

Bud G. Hartwick, 82 of Clark Avenue, Wellsville, OH died at his residence on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Spokane, Washington on March 8, 1926, a son of the late George and Pearl Graham Hartwick.

Moving to Wellsville in 1990, Bud had retired from the US Air Force after 30 years of service. While in the military, he served as a mechanic and military policeman. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Temple in East Liverpool. Bud was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping and doing woodwork.

His wife, Annie Beaver Hartwick, whom he married on November 10, 1979 survives him at home as well as five daughters: Elizabeth Wrenn of Phoenix, AZ and Wilma Cuevas and her husband, Steve of Phoenix, AZ, Kathryn Antill and her husband, Danny of East Liverpool, Victoria Nguyen of Wellsville and Peggy Sue Wilson and her husband, Tim of Bedford, OH; one son: Vernon W. Sarge, Jr. of Irondale, OH; nineteen grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, two sons: Steven D. Sarge and Scott A. Sarge; two sisters; one grandchild and two great grandchildren preceded him in death.

Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Gaylord Cox of the church officiating.

Burial will follow in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell, WV where the Tri State Burial Group and the Honor Guard of the West Virginia National Guard will accord military honors.

The family will be present at the funeral home in Wellsville on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM

Following the services family & friends will meet for food and fellowship in the dining hall of Grace Baptist Temple on Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, OH.
