Bonnie breezed into my life when she hired me to photograph her & Willie’s wedding day. Over the years we tried in our hectic lives as 2 business women to stay in touch.

We referred clients to each other, & of course bumped into each other at the weddings of her many friends. We always promised to get together, but never really did. But that didn’t matter to Bonnie. Whenever our paths did cross, she always greeted me like an old friend. It was just her way.

Bonnie was vibrant, open, fun, & loved by many. When it came to those she loved, she was brave & self-less. She was a breath of fresh air & I will miss her so very much.

To Willie, if there is anything I can do, please ask. I wish we could’ve taken that family portrait.

To Grant, you are blessed with a strong & loving father, & a mother who loved you so very much. May you inherit her heart & soul.

To everyone, take the time to be with the people you care about…Bonnie’s watching.

Dear Willie & family:

I was a client of Bonnie’s before she became the owner of the salon. We spent some very special times talking, laughing & sharing. She is one of the most courageous people I have ever known and always had a kind word for everyone. She spoke often and lovingly of her family Her eyes lit up when she talked about Willie and Grant!. She touched so many lives-I feel lucky to have known her. I hope that you will be able to find peace in knowing how much she was loved. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.

Sincerely,

Lisa Gilbert

I just want to say how very much Bonnie will be missed. As one of her clients, I always enjoyed seeing Bonnie. She had such a way of making you feel so much better. My husband has been dealing with cancer during the same time as Bonnie and we would talk, sometimes, about how things were going for both of us. She always had such a positive attitude that I would come away feeling much more positive about our situation. Bonnie was just a wonderful person and I’m very glad that I had the opportunity to know her.

I only knew Bonnie through our church SBCC and we have prayed for her tirelessly. Our wishes for her were to have a full recovery and now that she is with her Lord, our prayers were answered in that there will be no more pain and she will live in eternity. She will no longer have to fight to live, she lives eternally. To her family that is grieving, she lives on in all of us, especially Grant and she is with God now, that is the most comfort that anyone could ever ask for in the midst of this type of sorrow. My sincerest condolences and prayers are with you in this time of need. God Bless and Keep You.

I send my deepest sympathies for your devastating loss to all of Bonnie’s family. I only knew Bonnie from the perspective of a client, but I always looked forward to seeing her lovely face and exchanging some family chit-chat with her. She loved and respected all of her family and often said that they all meant the world to her. Bonnie shared many beautiful stories about her son’s antics and I know that she will be close to him in spirit as he faces all that is ahead of him. Much love to you all, Linda

To the Sheppard and Fedoriw families,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Bonnie’s Passing. I share the tremendous grief and pain that exists when losing a loved one so young in life. I reflect to remember Bonnie with her smile and giggle and will remember how she and the Fedoriw family has touched me in life. I will pray that you may find the strength to endure this painful time and live to allow Bonnie’s glow enlighten your life. I did not know her of late, but know that she brought a smile to those she touched.

With deepest sympathy, Bryan McFarland

Willie and Grant,

I am so sorry that Bonnie is gone. She made the world a happy and better place. I was a client of hers for the 5 years that I lived in Va Beach and I am so glad that I got the opportunity to know her. Grant, I pray that you will know what a wonderful person she was and how very much she loved you and your dad. She always used to joke that with the two of you she would never have anything on the tv but sports!

She will be missed by so many. God bless you both.
