Dear Rose and family,

I was so sorry to learn of Bob’s passing and wish I could attend the funeral. However, due to my recent heart surgery, that is not possible. Rose Marie, you have been a special friend for many years and I am praying that you and your family will find comfort in the beautiful memories of times shared with your husband and father. May God bless all of you and give you strength at this time.

I remeber Bugs from the playing basketball at the gym in old Center McMechen school, and later to his coming to Bill Higgins’ Capitol Radio & TV as an extra hand occasionally. I always liked being in his presence. Rose Marie, may the Peace of God be with you and your family at this time.
