Dear Judy, I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was always so sweet to me. How time passes, it seems just yesterday that we were young, sitting in your bedroom in Shadyside, entertaining each other with schoolgirl stories. Sending you a hug, thoughts and prayers.

Dear Judy: I just went online to view the Times Leader and saw your mom’s death notice. I am so very sorry for your deep sense of loss. She was always so kind loving to me when I would stay over-night at your house when you lived on Jefferson Street. I remember it like it was yesterday.

How can so many years have passed among us? May you find strength in your beautiful memories of your Dad, your Mom and Lynn. Life deals us some really hard blows but somehow, God gives us the strength and hope to forge on. Love and prayers, MaryJo Zacchini Kurko

Heartfelt sympathies, Judy! My Mom passed away a year ago last May at age 90. Your family has made a lasting impact on me and many others I’ve had in training classes I’ve led since leaving the Valley 30 years ago. I still quote your Dad from Sociology class during my Soph. year / 1964.

May God comfort you in your loss.

Judy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

I can remember your father talking about her in school, as when he was selling Blue Coral & other auto products “on his route”.

I remember both of them very well. In fact, your father was the teacher with the greatest class, the finest gentleman that I ever knew in Bellaire. When I came back from the service 1972, he bounded across the church, shook my hand and gave me a hug immediately after services.

In fact, nearly 45 years later, I can still see his face and hear his voice. It’s still fresh & pleasant in my memory today.

I will keep them and your in my prayers.
