BETTIE JANE FEHR, 83 OF SHADYSIDE, OHIO DIED DECEMBER 29, 2004 IN SHADYSIDE CARE CENTER.

BETTIE WAS BORN JUNE 15, 1921 IN WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE EDWARD G. MURPHY AND NELLIE MAE DEGROVE MURPHY.

SHE WAS A PROTESTANT BY FAITH.

SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND H. ALVIN FEHR AND A BROTHER LEE MURPHY.

SURVIVING ARE A DAUGHTER DONNA BERKA; A SON GREG FEHR AND HIS WIFE GINA ALL OF SHDYSIDE, OHIO; ONE SISTER MARION B. PARKER OF WHEELING, WV, FOUR GRANDCHILDREN JEFF BERKA, CHRIS BERKA, JOSH BERKA, AND BRANDON FEHR, FOUR GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL BE RECEIVED AT THE BAUKNECHT-ALTMEYER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 3900 CENTRAL AVENUE SHADYSIDE, OHIO ON SUNDAY FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 PM WHERE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 1 PM MONDAY WITH PASTOR DEAN MYERS OFFICIATING. INTERMENT IN GREENWOOD CEMETERY, WHEELING, WV.

MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS MAY BE MADE TO BELMONT TECHNICAL COLLEGE OR SHADYSIDE CARE CENTER.

Greg, Donna and the rest of your families:

Some of my fondest memories are of sitting on the wall with my friends in front of the house where the “quiet lady” lived and listening to Greg play guitar. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this difficult time.
