Bessie L. SAILER

SAILER, Besie L. Shaw, 68, of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Wheeling Hospital. She was a member of Thompson Methodist Church, Wheeling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Sailer; her parents, Robert and Minnie Shaw; a son, Walter Shaw; four brothers, Arthur, Ben, J.T. and Jessie Shaw; three sisters, Essie Irvin, Flonnie Bell and Margaret Shaw. Surviving are a son, Jospeh M. Shaw and his wife, Teresa, of Westerville, Ohio; a brother, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Shaw of Harrisburg, N.C.; a sister, Lois Spradley and her husband, Carl of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Friends received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2002, with the Rev. Earnest Watkins officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions may be made to Thompson Methodist Church, 115 S. broadway St., Wheeling, WV 26003
