Barry M. Weyand, 47, of Dodge Street, East Liverpool, OH died on Friday, November 2, 2001 at the Calcutta Health Care after a brief illness. He was born in Salem, Ohio on November 9, 1953, a son of the late Glenn Weyand and Mary Schuh Weyand.

Mr. Weyand spent his entire life in this area working as a self employed mechanic. He served with the US Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Emaline Carnes Weyand, who he married December 1, 1975; two sons: Barry Weyand, Jr. of Salem, OH and Joseph Weyand at home; two daughters: Emma Weyand and Sherri Weyand both at home; six brothers: Glenn Weyand, John Weyand, Sr., Ray Weyand, Sr and Gene Weyand, Sr all of East Livepool, OH, Charles Weyand of London, OH and Wade Weyand of St. Clairsville, OH; five sisters: Donna Buzzard, Shirley Weyand, Erma Jackson and Rose Howard all of East Liverpool, OH and Alverta Bowser of Lisbon, OH and four grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Tom Weyand.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Terry Weyand of the Avondale Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery where the Tri State Burial Group will accord full military honors.

Friends may call at the funeral home in Calcutta on Monday, November 5, 2001 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
