Barbara K. Creamer, 83, of Hobbsville, N.C. passed away May 3, 2008 surrounded by her family. She was born in Massachusetts to George and Marion Hobbs. Barbara is predeceased by her husband Patrick Creamer. Barbara was very active and enjoyed life. She was the wife of a WWII Navy veteran, a member of the Mayflower Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She also enjoyed oil painting, gardening, loved cats and volunteering with children.
Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters and their spouses; Dianne and Wayne Avery of Corolla, N.C., Marion and Gary Nichols of Virginia Beach, Elizabeth and Van Johnson of Hertford, N.C. and Rosemary and Russell Orsargos of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; John and Asher Avery of Bristow, VA, Scott and Kerri Avery of Portland, OR, Aaron and Rachel Nichols of Panama City, FL, S. Nicole Orsargos and Katy Orsargos both of Virginia Beach, five great-grandchildren; Patrick and Kinsley Avery of Bristow, VA, Dustin and Caleb Avery of Portland, OR and Aedyn Nichols of Panama City, FL. Also missing her are many nieces nephews and extended family members. A graveside funeral service will be held May 22, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Feline Hope Animal Shelter, Inc.P.O. Dianne, Marion, Beth and Rosemary,
