Barbara treated us, and my son Trey like family. To her Trey was another grandchild and to him she was his Grandma. Her “big man” she called him. She loved him dearly as he did her. Trey said now he has another “Grandma Angel” in heaven to look after him, that brings him comfort. Our prayers go out to her family during this time. May you celebrate her life and her homecoming into the Lord’s arms.

My prayers are with you. Barbara is now at piece and without pain, and I know this is a comfort to all of you. She has been a wonderful friend and a joy to be around;we had many a good time together. Barbara was a strong woman and never complained, she took everything in stride no matter what she was going through. I will truly miss her but find comfort in knowing she is now at rest and piece in her new home.

People come into our lives, the reason is for God to know.

We meet, we greet, a friendship shared

as time goes by a seed of love is sowed.

Some friendships are short but sweet, some are a lifetime long.

Some give us great joy and to life a celebration song.

Some come to help us in a time of need,

Some come to bless us when it is a time to grieve.

They lift us up when we are broken, they protect us when we are down

They sometimes wear out their welcome, yet we’re glad they are around.

Some friends they come in different shapes, some come in great disguise

Some come from out of nowhere and take us by surprise.

God knew that we needed each other, someone we could talk and listen to

I thank Him for you Barbara for He brought me a friend in you.
