Dear Linda and John,

We’re so sorry about the death of Linda’s dad. He was such a nice man. We liked him so much. We’re sorry we can’t come to the funeral home to see you but we are leaving for Florida early Thursday morning.

Even though we won’t get to see you, you’re in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Carol and Dave

Linda and Family,

Know that I am thinking of each of you during this difficult time.

I talked with Art several times after Darrie died. He was so supportive of my loss and was so lonely himself.

Art was a unique gentleman and I was lucky to have known him through Darrie.

He was so very proud of Holly and loved her dearly.

Sorry I couldn’t come to the service.

Linda, and family

I read with sadness of the death of your father. Please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss. I’d prefer sending a card, but since you’ve moved away, I don’t know the address. I would pay my respects in person, but after 8 snow days already, I think the principal might frown on a request to cut out for a while tomorrow. Take care.

Remembering you fondly always,

Christie

We are very sorry that we couldn’t attend the services. The announcement came too late to let us make the necessary arrangements.

We know how close your family was and how Art loved his Daughter, his Granddaughter and I am sure he really loved his Great Grandson. We didn’t know about the Great Grandson. We are glad his granddaughter and now his great grandson were able to experience for themselves the gentleness of Art. We were very fortunate to have had Art as our Whirlpool salesman and he was a great help to us personally and in our business. You all are in our prayers.
