Anthony W. Witt
Age 25

Anthony W, Witt, age 25, of Jackson Street Irondale, Ohio died on Monday, February 25, 2008 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Jefferson County.

Born in New Bern, North Carolina on January 17, 1983, he was the son of Tammy Hodge and Alton Shean of Irondale, and Larry W. and Faye Witt of Nashville, Georgia.

Anthony was a graduate of Edison Local High School, Class of 2002. He was employed as an Operator with the Apex Landfill last working on Friday. A veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp. He enjoyed spending time fishing.

In addition to his parents, Anthony is survived by his companion, Rose Wade and their unborn child, Savannah Ann Rose Witt of Irondale. Four sisters; Rebecca Adam Frischkorn of Irondale, Beverly Shean of Panama City, FL., Kattie Witt of Irondale, OH. and Nicole Witt of Nashville, Ga. 4 brothers; Bryan Witt, Richard Shean, Patrick Shean all of Irondale and Shawn Witt of Nashville, Ga. Grand Mothers; Sandra Kay Tomlinson of Cross City, Fl. And Jewell Witt of Dayton, Ohio and his Great Grandmother Ann Tomlinson of Cross City, Fl. 3 Nephews; Austin, Kenneth, and Ayden Frischkorn and a niece, Breena Frischkorn all of Irondale.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ashley Sky Shean, and grandparents Earl and Donna Hodge and Floyd Witt.

Friends may call at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, February 29, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

becky, i’m so sorry for the loss of your brother. sorry his little girl won’t see what a great guy he was. he will be deeply missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Anthony was a good kid enjoyed live to its fullest. I will always remember him and his crazy stories of how he would get hurt 4 wheeling or just out enjoying live.

Tony may have made some mistakes but we all loved him no matter what. He was my best friend and I’ll always miss him. And I will be with his family to help them with anything.
