Annette Howell as I knew her. She was very kind and never had a bad thought or word for any one. A loss of a very nice person and friend

even though she will always be with us in our prayers and daily lives.

Her family has been close to my family for years and will always be thought of with that in mind.

Our prayers are with her family and with Mrs.Howell at this time

Dawnette, there has not been a minute since you first called me that you have not been in my thoughts and in my heart. Although I am not able to be there with you, please know that I am praying for you to have strength to get through this time. As you read this, feel the hug I send to you and know that I have shared your burden with you.

Ilene . . . I am so sorry to hear about Annette’s passing. I left town on Wednesday, April 23rd, and just returned last Sunday evening, May 4th. I have thought about you and prayed for you ever since hearing this horrible news.

Annette was one of my very best buddies in high school, as you know. I can still hear her vibrant and hearty laugh! I will always have wonderful and fun memories of my times in band with her and the other majorettes: Angie Pozell, Sally Lutes, Terri Kirby, Terri Whitelatch, Delores Snedeker, and Karen Persinger. We had a blast and your daughter was a huge part of our good times. As seniors, especially, Annie and I were so close — going everywhere and hanging out so much together. We were locker partners much of our high school years.

Again, I am crushed that she has been taken so early. I had no idea she was even ill. I am so sorry I was not in town and unable to be there at the funeral service. Annette was a great, great lady and quite a fun-loving person. She had a huge heart, terrific smile, and a very outgoing and friendly personality. We were always laughing about something!

Please accept my condolences and know that you, Wendy, Dawnette, and Buddy will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. God will see you through these tough times. Rely on your faith and He will give you the strength and comfort you sorely need.

Love you . . . Judy

There are no words that could even begin to express my lifetime of “Friendship” with Annette. She was the “Sister” I never had and her “kids” will always be “mine”!

The only “comfort” that I can find is that I am certain that she is in a much better place and finally at “Peace Forever”.

Everyone that knew Annette “loved her” and she will be missed but “Never Forgotten”.

Love & Prayers,

Karen

To Annette’s family:

From the adolescent that use to mow her lawn to the adult that”stoled” his sister’s majorette painting to give to her for an Xmas present, I have always looked up to Annette. While unfortunately she often looked at “the glass” as half empty, she always made sure the rest of us look at it as half full. She had that special knack of making one feel like they were “were walking barefoot through wet grass.”

I’m sure she’ll be missed by all of us for eternity.

I met this nice beautiful lady in the summer of 1983 when I came to visit her daughter Dawnette. I’m so sorry for your loss.
