Crouch, Anne Margaret, 88, of Virginia Street, Moundsville, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, in the Mound View Health Care Center, Moundsville.

She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Moundsville, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Tuesday Arts Club of Moundsville.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betsy Ann Cummings; her parents, John Bruce and Irene Mae Bonar Jefferson; and two sisters, Imogene Jefferson and Katherine Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Emerson H. Crouch; two sons, Phillip H. Crouch and his wife, Joyce of St. Clairsville, and John W. Crouch and his wife, Linda of Wooster, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. India Fletcher of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a brother, Mr. John D. Jefferson and his wife, Freda of Americus, Ga.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Patricia Bentley officiating. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard.

Sorry to hear about Mrs. Crouch. She was the perfect neighbor and probably even a better mother and wife. She’ll be missed by all of us.
