Petrone, Annadean Gandy, 88 of Pensacola FL, formerly of Benwood, WV, died Thursday, July 10, 2008.
She was born January 19, 1920 in Benwood, a daughter of the late Aultman and Frankie Norris Gandy.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, McMechen, and a member of the St. James Alter Society.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Albert W. Petrone Sr., a son William Petrone, a daughter, Ruth A. Petrone, four brothers, Hillman, Wilbur, William and Petty Gandy, one sister, Gladys Lopusic.
Surviving are three children, Albert W. Petrone Jr. and his wife Anna of Sherrard, WV; Betty Lou Siburt of Benwood; Sonja M. Loudenslarger and her husband Gene of Pensacola, FL; six grandchildren, Shelly Ennis, Jay Petrone, Melissa Gray, Donald Hall, April Weed and Dee Dee Bowers, eight great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jarrett Ennis, Tyler and Kaylyn Petrone, Lexie Bowers, Matthew, Abby and Miranda Weed.
She has resided with her son in law Gene and daughter Sonja Loudenslarger of Pensacola, FL, for the past ten years.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, WV.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 in St. James Catholic Church, McMechen, with Rev. George Hohman as celebrant.
Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care and support provided by the staff of Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital and the staff of Health Center of Pensacola.
