MYSLIWIEC, Anna Kielbasa, 88, of Moundsville WV, died Friday, May 9, 2008 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. Born in Detroit MI, on July 13, 1919, Anna was the daughter of the late John and Anna Gajor Kielbasa. She was a former employee of Louis Marx Co. and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church, Wheeling. She was a member of the former St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Wheeling; Polish National Alliance Lodge # 455, Maynard OH; and the Thursday Night Guild in South Wheeling. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew F. Mysliwiec in 2005; her brothers, Michael, John, Albert, Bernard and Edward Kielbasa and Frank Gonchoff. Surviving are her son, John A. Jasiu Mysliwiec of Moundsville WV; two sisters, Mildred Mysliwiec and her husband Stanley of Moundsville and Regina Gonchoff of Moundsville; one brother, Joseph Gonchoff of Moundsville.
Friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 118 Grant Ave. Moundsville WV on Sunday, May 11, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Partas Services will be held at 7 pm on Sunday followed by PNA Services. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church, Wheeling with Fr. Michael Kurpka as celebrant. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church, 4136 Jacob St. Wheeling WV 26003.
